Join the Celebration of Song with the Cleveland County Choral Society

Greetings music enthusiasts! We are absolutely delighted to announce the upcoming season of the Cleveland County Choral Society. Our community choir, known for not requiring auditions, is gearing up to bring harmonious joy to the residents of Cleveland County and our neighboring regions. Our main goal? To fill your world with the richness and beauty of choral music.

This season, our choir has an impressive repertoire in store for you. We'll be performing Dan Forrest's unique arrangement of the holiday classic "Joy to the World," Mack Wilberg's spirited "The Virgin Mary Had A Baby Boy," the ever-powerful "Hallelujah Chorus" by Handel, along with other festive favorites to make your Christmas merry and bright.

Rehearsals kick-off from September 5th, held every evening between 6:30 - 8:30 at the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Shelby. If you've been considering lending your voice to our chorus, now is the perfect time to do so. We'll be welcoming new singers from September 5th right through till September 19th.

To cover our operating expenses, we kindly ask for a modest fee of $30.00 per singer. This contribution ensures that we continue bringing melodious joy to our community each season.

Mark your calendars now for our performances, bound to bring the spirit of the season to life. Join us on Saturday, December 2nd at 7:00 pm or on Sunday, December 3rd at 3:00 pm. These performances will take place at the Central United Methodist Church in Shelby.

As always, we're enthusiastic to bring our community together through the shared love of choral music. Whether you're an avid singer or a passionate listener, we invite you to be a part of our vibrant choir family this season. Get ready to experience the magical blend of voices that is the Cleveland County Choral Society!
